Who we are

This website is run by Gamybos Kodo Technologijos UAB, Varpo 34, LT-76241 Šiauliai, Lithuania, the company behind GK Proact. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions about this policy go to sales@gkproact.com.

What we collect and why

Contact form. When you send the form on the contacts page we receive your name, email address, company, phone number if you add it, the topic and your message. We use them only to answer you and to follow up on your request. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries. The form reaches us by email; if your browser opens your own mail app instead, the message goes directly from you to sales@gkproact.com.

Website statistics. We use Plausible Analytics to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they read, where they come from and which language they use. Plausible does not use cookies and does not store any personal data. Your IP address and browser details are used only to compute a short-lived anonymous identifier that is discarded within 24 hours and is never stored. What we see is aggregate only: counts of visits, pages, referrers, countries and devices. A few actions are also recorded as anonymous events: clicks on our email and phone links, and language switches. Plausible is operated by Plausible Insights OÜ in Estonia and keeps its data on servers in the European Union. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Map. The contacts page can show our office on a Google Maps map. The map is loaded only after you press the Show map button. Once loaded, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under the Google privacy policy.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Your language choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is not sent to us. Third-party cookies may be set by Google only if you choose to show the map.

How long we keep data

Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to two years afterwards, unless a contract or a legal obligation requires longer. Aggregate statistics contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely.

Who sees the data

Your contact details are seen by our sales and support team. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Service providers that process data on our behalf: Plausible Insights OÜ (statistics, EU), our email provider (contact messages) and Google (map, only when shown).

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to sales@gkproact.com. You can also complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt) or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Changes

We update this policy when the site or the services it uses change. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Opting out of statistics

If you prefer not to be counted, you can exclude this browser from our statistics. The choice is stored in your browser's local storage and applies only on this device.
