Financial and accounting management

Books that follow the business

GK Proact accounting runs inside the same flows as purchasing, warehousing and production. Every receipt, shipment and production report posts itself, so the ledger is current without re-keying and month end is a check, not a project.

  • Faster month-end close
  • No double entry
  • One set of numbers for operations and finance

What changes

  1. No re-keying

Operational documents create their own postings. The warehouse receives, the ledger posts. Production reports, cost moves.

  2. Costs where they happen

Material, labour and overhead land on the production order they belong to, so product cost is known per batch, not estimated per year.

  3. Month end as a check

Because the books are current every day, closing is reconciliation rather than reconstruction.

  4. One view for finance and operations

The controller and the plant manager read the same stock value, the same work in progress and the same receivables.

Why GK Proact for finance

  1. Grown from manufacturing flows

The accounting module was built onto the supply chain, warehouse and production system, not the other way round. It knows what a batch, a reservation and a work centre are.

  2. Multi-company without multi-system

Several legal entities, currencies and charts of accounts run in one installation, with intercompany flows handled as ordinary transfers.

  3. Standards built in

Local accounting standards and statutory reporting are part of the system, so compliance does not depend on spreadsheets.
